Prayer to God

I used to recite holy books in the morning and after completing recitals, I used to stand up and placed before God a long prayer. First of all I praised God, then I thanked God for what He had given to me and them I placed my demands before Him. This had been my routine and since I had been reciting all this exercise in loud voice, all in the house had been listening whatever I had been reciting.

When my son reached thirteen and he was in eighth class, he appeared at seven in the morning and bowed his head before me and actually touched my feet. Then he stood up and withdrew some steps backward. He closed his eyes and stood straight before me with folded hands. He started speaking,

“My dear father you are great. Everybody in the town has got great respect for you. You are a learned person and I often read articles in news papers. I have seen two or three books written by you and those are lying in the local library. As and when I visited the library, I used to see those books and also noted the number of times those have been issued to the readers. If some friend of mine is with me, I tell him that these books have been written by my father, I also told that the books are so good that many readers have read these books.”

Then he stopped for a while and then again started,

“I am thankful to you that you gave birth to me and I could get a chance to live in this world. I am thankful to you that you along with my mother brought me up and kept me hale and hearty. You got me admitted in one of the best schools in the city. You are providing me with all the books, help books and items of stationery. You provide me very good diet and very good clothes to wear. You are giving me all facilities in life and I hope this will continue.”

“You have done much for me. But you know Papa that I am not good in the subject of English language. I need help. Since you have not arranged tuition for me, the teacher is commenting upon my weakness in this subject. It is therefore, requested that I may be provided with tuition in this subject so that I could do justice with this subject. You know that I had been getting first divisions throughout and, this time too, I want to get first division. I hope you would arrange tuition for me.”

Then the boy again bowed down and touched my feet and then without listening to me, he left the scene.

I told all this story to my wife, the mother of the boy and we both were very thankful to God that He had given us such an intelligent, respectful son.

Next day again at seven my son appeared and repeated same rehearsal. I told my parents and other relations. They all were very happy and were sorry to note that their own children could not realize all this.

When this rehearsal continued for about fifteen days, without any break, I and my wife were not very happy. We doubted something wrong with the boy. So I consulted some people and most of them advised up to take the boy to a Dera situated near our town. We actually took the boy to that Dera and we met the Sant. He listened to us and gave us something which he advised that we should administer this medicine to the boy in milk.

When we could not succeed, we consulted a doctor. He advised us to consult a doctor in the city hospital. We went there and a batch of doctors examined the boy and they advised his admission in the hospital for a month. We accepted their advice and the boy remained there for treatment for a month. We faced difficulties, but since we had got the only son with us, we had to bear all these difficulties. After a month the boy was given discharge from the hospital and we brought him back. He was feeling better.

But next morning right at seven he again appeared before me and started the same rehearsal which he had been carrying on prior to his admission in the city hospital.

I talked to my wife. She was not in a position to give me proper advice. She advised me that I should consult my parents. But before I could have further consultations, I absented myself next morning at seven. The boy might have traced me, but since I was out of the house, he could not conduct the same rehearsal on that day. Next morning too I absented myself and left the house at that particular time. And I must declare that I am never present in the house at seven.

Now I have crossed sixty. My son is married and had got two children. Now I realized that I had to run from my son only because that he had been repeating the same rehearsal daily. The Almighty God is not listening to our prayers. He too might have become tired of listening the same prayers daily. It is very difficult to hear the same prayer daily. When God had to run away from the sight of this man, similar had been my position and I had to run away from the sight of my son. I have started praying before God in a different way. Now I offer my prayer only once for the fulfillment of my demand and I never recall that prayer once again. I have realized that God is not in the habit of forgetfulness and therefore, we should offer our prayer only once. We must believe that He had listened to us. That is all.

My mentor, a brilliant PhD, with a powerful marriage-counseling ministry recently shared 2 shocking statistics with me:
1. Out of every 10 Christians, 7 of them have been sexually abused in the dream.
2. 10 out of 10 women whose marriages are not working regularly have sex in the dream.
(He should know. He handled 21,000 cases in his ministry last year).
This is a rather difficult topic to discuss, but the good news is that a few obscure scriptures in the Bible hold the key to total freedom, so you can sleep better at night with your spouse.
What To Do
Because of these revelations, his prayer team has created 27 “earthquake” prayer points. Those who have prayed them confirm:
- It’s effective in pulling back marriages from the brink of disaster
- It mends broken marriages
- It brings back honey, love and joy into relationships
Caution
My mentor cautions that anyone who wants to pray them must be genuinely born again, and must NOT be cheating on their spouse. He also advises that best result comes if you fast during the prayers. To go full throttle, you start the prayers around the midnight hour.
A Real World Example
In many relationships today, you find a pattern of:
* breakup or divorce either in the man’s family or on the woman’s side or both.
* marital problems transferred from one generation to another…
* hidden spiritual “marriages” in place.
* invisible marks of hatred placed on the man or woman. This makes one repulsive to the other and vice versa – after only a few years of marriage.
* warning signals ignored or simply not understood.
Sometimes these warnings came through dreams. To give you an example, once we found a man who was deeply in love with his date… and they got married – for 6 months.
Then all of a sudden he couldn’t stand the sight of her. No one could think of anything wrong that she had done.
Eventually he walked out on her.
She went for counseling… no solution. Her friends took her to all kinds of “prophets.” She went to see 5 different therapists, 2 psychics and even a hypnotist.
Nothing worked.
She went into prayer asking God for a more compatible person to date.
No response.
As she put it, she had desperately prayed to God to send her that special someone with whom she could glorify and give Him praise… no answer. In fact all she seemed to be getting turned out to be nothing but “wolves in sheep’s clothing.”
She gave up… not knowing how to navigate the tricky minefield of finding a sincere, godfearing man to share her love with. Then the Lord had mercy on her.
One day, a friend at work invited her to a Friday night prayer meeting. It was a charged and anointed session… and miracles were happening.
During the prayers one sister noticed an invisible mark on her forehead… a tiny star-shaped symbol that was not visible to the naked eye. She stopped the prayers and raised this singular prayer point just for her:
“Blood of Jesus, wipe off all handwriting of hatred and rejection from my life in the name of Jesus.”
They prayed it 3 hot times, praised the LORD for the answer and moved right on to the next prayer point. Result?
That same weekend the husband called for the very first time since the breakup. 12 more sessions of anointed prayers (with fasting) followed …and hubby came home.
Do you happen to know anyone whose relationship is not all it could be, maybe a friend or even a relative?
* Or the marriage is on the verge of hitting the rocks.
* Or has broken down already.
* Or tell-tale signs of wear and tear are beginning to show.
* Or someone believing the LORD for a godly spouse.
* Or any couple just trying to safeguard their marriage.
* Or a close friend just fed up with the boredom and loneliness of the single life?
In other words…
If you happen to know any Christian friend whose marriage is not all that it could be, do them a favor -give them these 3 prayer points for a start.
1. Every marine witchcraft that has introduced spirit wife/husband in my dreams, be roasted by fire in the name of Jesus.
2. Every agent of marine witchcraft posing as my husband/wife in the dream, be consumed by fire in the name of Jesus.
3. Every agent of marine witchcraft physically attached to my marriage to frustrate it, die by fire in the name of Jesus.

Being the father of five; I am constantly teaching my children both literally and through my actions. With the Labor Day weekend and a finally moment to reflect – I thought about the things I hope I can pass on to my children. This is not focused on teaching them how to add or spell but how to face life and be of character. We all have a responsibility to resource, equip, teach, and provide for those who are coming after us, and who are preparing to take our place. We are expected to do all we can to help ensure their growth and security; to teach them the things you value the most. To learn from your mistakes and not necessarily repeat them. Its probably your most important and fulfilling tasks as a parent – passing on the values that will sustain them through their lives of challenging tasks and difficult decisions.

What, then, should we be careful to pass on tour children? What values do you want to instill ? Here are my ten torches I hope to pass on:

To value money less: to not let their careers dictate their time and who they are. To find joy in their family and friends; in serving others and to find your stock in life in god and not in your workplace. To learn to save more and spend less and to not have to continue upgrading your spending habits to match your earning increases. To not to have to continuously upgrade your house and car. To find your satisfaction in worship and not in your toys.

Reflection time: I hope to pass on to my children how critical free time is and how valuable your time is. I think as a generation our worst fault is our “busyness” and ability to overbook ourselves. We never ever have any time to reflect or to meditate; to spend time alone or for that matter to book a lazy time at home with the family. My first value will be of time – to be less busy; less scheduled; less stress – to value your free time and to learn to schedule “nothing” or time to do nothing. The time to meditate; to reflect; to dream and plan is so critical to a healthy life but is often completely missed. To teach my children to leave the office an hour early to spend more time with the family instead of working late.

A Servants Attitude: As Americans most of us are blessed to have more than we will ever need. Most of us live in excess – having more toys and spending our free time enjoying our toys and leisure. I want to teach my children to use their blessings on helping others – to use their free time serving others. It takes a long time to realize the joy of helping others far exceeds the pleasure of driving a new boat or playing the latest video game. My second torch to pass on is to teach my children it is far greater to serve others than to serve yourself.

The importance of friends – deep biding relationships. One of the best things we can bequeath to the next generation is how helpful, how rich, and how essential it is to have abiding and vulnerable personal relationships with one another. They need deep relationships that they can not only share with but who will also hold them accountable. They need connections that transcend friendships and ones that go deep within to give each other safety, grace, acceptance, comfort, and truth – relationships in which we provoke each other to love and good works. (Hebrews 10:24) They need to have a small group that is biblically based and will help them grow spiritually.

Less perfection. It seems with emails; computers and better communications – errors seem to get magnified and publicized. Unfortunately this has led to huge pressures to be perfect. Everyone now strives to be so perfect. One thing we don’t need to pass on is our generation’s perfectionism! I hope to teach my children to be able to accept the truth about faults, weaknesses, and failures and not hide in shame, self-judgment, and condemnation. To be more forgiving and less judgemental. I want to teach them about trust and honesty; about confession, forgiveness, grief, restoration, healing, and moving on. This will help them deal with the baggage they will naturally carry and learn to grow as imperfect people who have a living message of hope for a world that is lost. To experience more joy and happiness in their imperfection.

Less judging. This seems to be such an issue I decided to make it a point in itself. We all judge OURSELVES and others too harshly. Culture is constantly setting standards no one can meet and then we judge ourselves too severely. Worse yet we are constantly judging others when we hate it when others judge us. It seems these days those who call themselves Christians end up being the most judgemental. Again nothing is as critical as teaching your children the importance of trust and honesty; about confession, forgiveness, grief, restoration, healing, and moving on. And once they learn to be less judgemental of others they also stop being so concerned with judging themselves and if others are judging themselves. Its so freeing.

Praise. I hope to model to my children how proud I am of them; how wonderful they are and how much God loves them. Our children need our blessing. They need to know we aren’t holding on to power, territory, or authority. They need to know we trust them and love them and we believe in them and Support them, take initiative to help, mentor them, and guide them. Give them confidence in who they are so they aren’t so apt to change to make someone else happy.

God’s blessings don’t mean being wealthy. Unfortunately we have somehow tied our wealth or lack of it to how much God is blessing us. And if we are successful its because God is blessing our actions. True we do owe everything to God but somehow we attribute our success to his approval and that’s the fartherest from the truth. I want my children to learn God’s love and blessings are the same whether we are rich or poor and aren’t an indication of either.

Worship values. We need to teach and model the realities of what is truly important in life. Our time to worship and our faith in God should be the most important thing in our lives. Worship is a seven day per week pastime not a Sunday morning date. We need to teach them everyday starts by worshiping God. And Sunday also needs to have more reverence. Sunday is THE day of worship, a day of reverence and rest not a day to schedule birthday parties and little league games. We need to teach and model the reality of God and his grace, being loving in our relationships, the truth of the Word of God, the salvation that comes through Jesus, the importance of a life surrendered to God, that God is first and foremost, that God sees all we do so being an honest person, living holy lives, and living in community – is the only way to live. Once we trust in God and put our faith in him and worship Him as He deserves – the rest of our lives become much richer and become much easier to manage. Our children have to know that all of reality and all of life is spiritual at the core. This is God’s universe, whether we are dealing with marriage, dating, finances, careers, or our mission in life. We have to teach our children to see that God has principles, answers, solutions, and guidance for every single area of life, so they will look to him and trust his ways. To trust in the Bible for our answers not our culture.

The Importance of Prayer – though its last its certainly not the least. We need to pass on to our children how important prayer is; how vital it is to our well being and what a blessing it is to talk to God. You can’t have a better friend or supporter. How often is HE and our prayer time the first thing we cut out of our busy schedule. To have a set prayer time; to start the day in prayer; to pray in the same quiet room; to become a habitual prayer. Pray, Pray and Pray.

May God bless you and your children.

We all experience healing in some form or another throughout our lives. We heal our physical bodies with healthy food, vitamins, herbals and medications. We heal our minds with positive thinking, affirmations and healthy thoughts. We heal our spirits with prayer, intention, and meditation. All of these methods of healing affect our existence in some way. All work to keep us from succumbing to disease.
Many of these methods seem disparate in nature as if they had nothing to do with one another, yet all claim to be successful. For example, an energy method such as Reiki seems to work completely different than say, a nutritional supplement. Meditation and prayer have seemingly different effects than medications or nutritional supplements. One affects the mind or spirit while the other affects the cells of the body. With all of these methods working in seemingly different ways to heal, how could they ever be explained by a common theory? Is there a fundamental process that connects all systems of healing?
In order to find such a common underlying process we must look deep into the essence of life. We must look deep into our bodies and the molecules that combine to form them. When we do we find a fundamental process that all living systems share. We find that life has the special ability to become more complex over time. This ability is special because life exists in a universe that becomes more disorganized over time. Life’s special ability has to do with having a constant supply of something that keeps it from degenerating into disorder. That something is called information.
A growing number of elite scientists now believe that all matter and energy consist of information. Information is the essence of all things. All living systems must have a constant supply of information from the universe in order to survive and evolve to higher levels of complexity. The ability of life to receive and integrate information is what makes it so special. We exist in a field of potentially active information. Whenever we breath, act or think we are in essence communicating with this field.
We commonly think that the information contained in life resides in DNA. Yes, DNA is an incredible repository of information and a product of billions of years of evolution. But you may have the intuitive sense that you are more than your DNA. Your existence extends beyond your cells and physical body. Your being extends out making connections with the universe around you. These connections communicate information between you and the universe.
Even the relatively new science of epigenetics has discovered other complex information systems that reside outside of DNA and yet affect how DNA is expressed. These systems connect with our bodies and minds producing a kind of an information feedback system to DNA. Your actions and even your thoughts can affect how your DNA is expressed.
You are an informational system. In order to keep on living you must somehow gather and integrate information into your being. The same goes for healing. Healing is an extension of the same underlying process of living. Think of how one heals. Generally there is some sort of process in the body that causes disorder. For example a cancerous tumor may spread disorder throughout the system. Healing occurs when order is restored. Decreasing disorder is a result of the infusion of information. Perhaps a sick individual uses a number of information sources to restore order or heal from the cancer. They may consist of medications, nutrients and mind-body techniques.
We can view ourselves as existing on several informational levels. For example, the molecules of your body contain information in how they are put together. Exposing these molecules to information sources such as nutrients constitutes an exchange of information. The molecules of the nutrients interact with the receptors on cells and transfer information to elicit changes in the cells. Nutrients can be seen as information sources with the purpose of restoring order to the body.
Likewise healing prayer may also restore order by sending information non-locally to the body. There are a large number of studies examining healing prayer as well as the effects of intention on others and machines. The work of researchers such as Dean Radin at the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research center has opened up whole new vistas of how human intention can affect the physical world. All of this research serves as support for the existence of a nonlocal communication of information.
What are the prospects of understanding healing in terms of information? For one, all healing systems can be described as essentially doing the same thing, which is sending healing information to the body. Alternative and mainstream systems become part of the same underlying information-transferring process. Second, we can organize sources of information according to levels of complexity such as molecular, energy, mind and spirit so that all can be used to support healing. Third, we can apply concepts of the science of information theory to fine-tune the exchange of information for each individual.
If all healing systems are seen as information transferring systems then seemingly disparate systems have equal footing when contributing to a healing program. Reiki is now seen to be as important as medication because it works on the nonlocal level while medication works on the molecular level. Both spirit and molecular levels of existence contribute to the overall human being. The same can be said for meditation and nutrition. Meditation works on the mind level while nutrition works on the molecular level. Both work by transferring healing information to the body, which in turn, reduces disorganization or disease.
Understanding healing in terms of exchanges of information may open up new fields of study such as informational medicine or informational healing. New systems of healing could emerge that combine techniques that may have previously seemed unrelated. In the future alternative and mainstream practitioners may be able to communicate and work together with a common understanding of healing. If science is already beginning to understand matter and energy in terms of information perhaps the healing arts will soon follow.

The idea to get as many people praying for the security of Israel. One of the websites focus is on a woman named Corrie Ten Boom. Ms. Boom has had so many tributes dedicated to her since she was held prisoner by the Nazi’s. Ms. Boom and her family were charged with protecting about 800 Jews. After the war ended, the Queen of Holland honored Ms. Boom as a war hero. In 1970, Ms. Boom wrote a book called The Hiding Place, which became a best seller. It was turned into a movie as well. Ms. Boom died in 1983 at the age of 91. This woman was an inspiration to those who aren’t sure or may be scared to show their faith in Israel and the Jewish people.
