Conduct prayer in a proper manner.
All the religions have prescribed methods of prayer and people in those religions adopt that method of prayer. If they do not adopt that method, then they believe that God shall not listen to them and all the prayers shall be rejected or ignored by God. And belief had been with us throughout the generations and we are still following these beliefs.
We cannot anticipate when a demand shall arise in our mind and we also do not what we shall do with that demand. Most of us cannot wait till prayer time and without any waiting period with us we immediately place our demand before God. At prescribed prayer time, we just have formal demands and in most the cases we forget what we actually want and when we employ people to conduct prayer for us, that fellow has got the prescribed course and he shall perform that course and when he is offering prayers for us, we cannot understand whether that fellow is praying for us or praying for himself. In most of the case this employed person has got so many problems of his own and there are chances that in stead of praying for us, that fellow shall be praying for his himself. Therefore, when we have special demands in our mind, we should conduct prayer ourselves and we should not employee people for this purpose. We must conduct our prayer ourselves and we must see that when we are placing our demands before God, we should not repeat the same demand time and again and at the same we must see that the demands for which we had prayed earlier, should not be repeated once again because God shall not like this repetition. The demand which had been put forward earlier and had not been accepted, those might have been rejected or kept pending by God and we must wait for the proper time when God shall be accepting those demands.
We may be following the prescribed method or we may be keeping our eyes closed and seeing God in front of us, we must talk to Him as we talk to our parents and we must be sure that we are demanding things from God from the core of our heart and not otherwise. At the same time, we must see that what we demand, we must be sure that we have got merits to get that demand because we should not demand a thing without having merits for that thing. God also wants that we must demand on merits and not as a matter of charity and when we demand, we should approach God in a just manner and must demand within limitations and not beyond limitations. God shall accept our demands, when those are justified and shall be rejecting our demands when those are beyond limitations and beyond our own limitations. We all are children of God and therefore, we should not be ashamed of and must be clear before our father God. God shall help us and therefore, what we demand, we must work on those demand too. God helps those who help themselves.

To achieve a sense of peace, you can turn to the gift of prayer and meditation.
There are many benefits to meditation and prayer:
1. Stress reduction. Both meditation and prayer are wonderful for reducing stress. It will teach you to get to a more peaceful state of mind, and get away from the worries of life.
* Just 15 minutes a day can make a huge difference by bringing peace and relaxation to your body and mind. Taking into account the positive effects, a few minutes a day isn’t all that much.
2. Improved health. Many studies have proven that prayer and meditation foster vibrant health. Healthy benefits such as decreased risk of heart disease and lower blood pressure are the result of lower stress levels.
* Physical problems are often a symptom of turmoil on the inside and prayer and meditation can help to overcome that turmoil.
3. Better control over your thoughts. Having negative thoughts from time to time is part of being human. Many people who are stressed don’t believe they’re able to control what they think. The stress mounts, tempers flair, and before long arguments ensue.

By spending some time in personal reflection, you’ll gain a greater wisdom of your mission in this life, and you’ll be better able to appreciate all that you’ve been given, both good and bad. Meditation and prayer help banish those negative thoughts that threaten your peace of mind.
5. Better concentration. As you pray and meditate, you welcome peace and tranquility into your mind, which then affects how you live your life. When you alleviate the stresses in your life, you’re better able to concentrate on the things that are important, such as family or work.
* Continued prayer and meditation will help you expand your focus to multiple areas of your life.
Although prayer and meditation can provide peace in your life, it can be hard to make the time at first, but it’s easier than you think. Simply find a quiet place in your home and allow yourself to relax and feel at peace for 10-15 minutes. You deserve those 15 minutes of peace each day!
